Brian is a Partner at KP. He is a registered lobbyist, providing strategic counsel on policy, regulatory consulting, and advocacy for a variety of clients. He represents clients in discussions with the Governor’s Office, California Legislature and regulatory agencies, including for clients such as Cypress Creek Renewables, Offshore Wind CA, Pacific Merchant Shipping Assn, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Tenaska, International Code Council, Visions In Education, Association of Personalized Schools & Services, CA Licensed Foresters Assn, Forest Landowners of CA, and Hipcamp. With an extensive government affairs background, Brian is a seasoned public policy and legislative strategist who holds expertise in many policy areas. His experience in building coalitions and fostering positive relationships for a diverse client base makes Brian particularly adept in finding proactive solutions that positively benefits clients while also being able to neutralize potential negative threats.

  • Worked with large coalition to pass legislation reforming California’s community solar program (AB 2316 - Ward, 2022)
